Engineering Manager (Mechanical Design) —Lead, Develop, and Elevate a High-Performance Design Team You will own the mechanical designfunction and a team of up to 12 engineers. Delivery commitments the shop floor cantrust. You bring engineering disciplineand resilience to complex problems. You find the constraint, test theassumptions, fix the cause, and verify the result. - Turn proven designs and solutions into modular systems, documented standards,and practical engineering guidance. Changesunder control
- Own engineering change requests and orders. Maintain revision control andensure approved changes reach purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly. Problemsraised early and resolved
- Create an environment where engineers question designs, expose weakassumptions, and report mistakes. Establish corrective actions and verify thatthey work. Recruitment,onboarding, performance reviews, and career development Give strong performers technical challenges and thecoaching to master them. 7+ years of experience asa mechanical designer in automation, robotics, packaging machinery, orcustom machine building.



Strong practical command of CAD(SolidWorks preferred), GD&T;, pneumatics, servo systems, andmechanical fundamentals. Proven ability to manage timelines,coordinate teams, and solve cross-functional challenges. Experience developing engineers through technicalleadership, coaching, and feedback. The ability to manage competing priorities acrossengineering and manufacturing. Experience with Lean manufacturing, structureddocument control, or engineering process improvement is an asset.
