This full time Executive Director leads a financially stable social profit organization serving Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, British Columbia, and Canada. You will work with the Board, more than 40 staff, volunteers, funders, governments, and crisis-sector partners. The mandate includes strengthening services, partnerships, resources, and organizational performance.

Refine and implement the Society’s strategic planGuide leadership, staff, volunteers, and Board governanceSecure operational funding through grants and partnershipsOversee Community Education and program promotionManage leases, insurance,



technology, and operational needsRequirements:
Leadership experience in social profit organizations preferredExperience managing organizational budgets and fiscal responsibilitiesExperience working with volunteer Boards and organizational changeDegree in business administration or social sciences preferredStrong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skillsUse nonprofit governance, fundraising, and strategic leadership to advance VICS services from its Nanaimo headquarters.
