Overview

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, self motivated Certified Dental Assistant Level 2 for a FULL TIME position available in our dental practice.

MONDAY - THURSDAY (No evenings or weekends)

Approximately 38 hours per week

Wage: starting at $25 (wage vary depending on experience)

Duties

- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials, Stock & maintain operatories
- Enter treatment, schedule follow up appointments & escort patient to and from operatories
- Room set up & take down
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-ray, Panorex) as needed.
- Maintain patient records accurately using dental software - Abeldent
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment (IPAC)
- Sterilization of instruments, hydrim, ultrasonic, Lexa

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant Level II is preferred




- Must be HARP certified, CPR, WHIMIS, IPAC
- Familiarity with dental software systems - Abeldent is highly recommended but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
