Kleinfelder seeks an Intermediate Instrumentation and Controls specialist reporting to the Instrumentation and Controls Lead. You will support projects varying in size, scope, and complexity. The work includes oil and gas instrumentation, communication, controls, and EPC deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Develop instrument data sheets, specifications, schematics, and wiring diagramsDesign DCS, PLC, SCADA, panels, analyzers, and meteringCreate communication network diagrams, control narratives, and shutdown keysReview vendor drawings and documents for complianceParticipate in HAZOP, PHA, and SIL studiesRequirements:
Technical diploma or related bachelor’s degreeSix-plus years’ oil and gas instrumentation experiencePrevious EPC experience and Engineering Work Package experienceProfessional registration with APEGA or ASETCurrent SmartPlant Instrumentation knowledge and ability to stampBring detailed design, PLC, communication network, and SmartPlant Instrumentation experience to Kleinfelder’s Alberta instrumentation team.
