The Role
As Director of Manufacturing at XSENSOR, you will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of manufacturing operations for our market-leading pressure sensors systems. You will oversee a cross-functional team spanning procurement, production, quality, order management.
This is a high-impact leadership role with the opportunity to shape XSENSOR’s manufacturing strategy, scale operations, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet global customer and regulatory requirements. You will drive operational excellence across cost, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Operations & Process Development
Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations, production planning, scheduling, and executionDevelop cutting-edge manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and scalability targetsDrive manufacturing efficiency through Lean principles and continuous improvementOversee equipment, tooling, and facility requirementsMaintain PLM systems, including BOMs, part data, and cost structuresCapacity Planning & Order Fulfillment
Ensure manufacturing capacity and capabilities align with current and future product demandLead execution of production plans to meet global delivery commitmentsPartner with Sales to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfactionNew Product Introduction (NPI) & Change Management
Represent Manufacturing in NPI activities and product developmentLead transfer of designs and materials into production, ensuring readiness for launchImplement and manage engineering changes (ECO/ECN) with minimal disruptionEnsure supply chain and capacity readiness for new product introductionsQuality & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure manufacturing compliance with ISO 17025, 13485, FDA, Health Canada, and applicable regulatory standardsPartner with Quality to maintain product quality, traceability,



and documentationLead resolution of nonconformances and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Represent XSENSOR in audits and regulatory inspectionsDevelop and maintain a robust supply strategy to ensure continuity and mitigate riskLead supplier selection, qualification, and performance managementSupport negotiations with suppliers and manufacturing partnersOwn manufacturing cost structure, including labor, materials, and overheadDevelop and manage manufacturing budgets and capital expendituresIdentify and execute cost reduction and process optimization initiativesEnsure sound financial decision-making across all manufacturing activitiesBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing manufacturing teamEstablish clear goals, accountability, and performance metricsPlan and scale resources to support company growthFoster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvementAccountability
Product Quality: Ensure quality and compliance across all stages of manufacturingDelivery & Performance: Meet production schedules, delivery commitments, and operational KPIsCost & Efficiency: Achieve cost targets and drive continuous improvementCommunication: Provide clear reporting of performance, risks, and operational statusSuccess Profile
Proven leadership in manufacturing operations, ideally in a regulated or medical device environmentStrong understanding of ISO Compliant QMS and global regulatory requirementsExperience scaling manufacturing from development to productionDemonstrated success in cost management, process optimization, and supply chain leadershipExperience with PLM software (ARENA), Salesforce and Microsoft 365 features5+ years related manufacturing and engineering work experience with post-secondary education in Engineering, Technology or BusinessYou are passionate about people leadership and building high performance teams.
