Lead hands-on photonic experimentation focused on homodyne detection, optical measurements, and integrated optical systems. Work spans laboratory validation and precision signal analysis.
This Senior Photonic Engineer will design, develop, and experimentally validate integrated optical systems for next-generation computing applications. The work combines optical laboratory experiments, photonic integrated circuit characterisation, electronic control systems, and advanced signal processing. You will collaborate with photonic design, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to support system integration.

Key Responsibilities

Design and upgrade experiments using continuous-wave and pulsed lasersCharacterise balanced homodyne detectors for pulsed optical signalsAnalyse detection efficiency, noise, bandwidth, rejection,
