Your work setting at EXPEXP’s Calgary office is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager, Building Science to join their team and work with our Building Science Manager. What a day at EXP has in store for youUnder the direction of the Building Science Director, WC you will: Lead project teams delivering consulting engineering services to clients Undertake building investigations and field reviews for design, repair,



and restoration Monitor and manage project tasks budgets and schedules Conduct business development with potential clients Prepare building investigation reports and construction documents Provide technical advice and guidance to clients and direct project teams Mentor, coach, and develop employees through daily project work Manage the contract administration and quality of restoration projects through the construction stage, including contractor performance to ensure project deliverables and standards are met Communicate effectively with clients by keeping them informed of site issues impacting project quality and resolving issues quickly Degree in Engineering / Architecture or a related field 8-10+ years’ experience in the Building Science industry with: New construction and building envelope restoration Parking structure condition surveys would be an asset Working as a prime consultant on projects Strong organizational and time management skills as well as attention to detail Must be able to meet project deadlines Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications LEED Accreditation, PMP would be an asset Experience with suspended access equipment (work from heights) an asset Knowledge in current energy requirements in building codes and energy modelling Some regional travel may be required EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
