Lead the Bernard Betel Centre for Creative Living in Toronto through strategic planning, financial stewardship, and community-focused leadership. This full time position is in person five days weekly.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director leads people, programs, operations, and resources. The role translates approved strategic directions into effective services, sound financial stewardship, and meaningful community impact. The Centre serves more than 5,000 adults aged 55+ annually.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with the Board on strategy development and approved prioritiesLead staff, support volunteers, and foster an inclusive workplaceManage budgets, financial performance, and cash flowOversee fundraising, grants, donors, and community funding relationshipsStrengthen operations,



controls, compliance, safety, and organizational riskRequirements:
Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experienceAccountability for operations, people, budgets, and organizational resultsStrong strategic planning, financial management, and communication skillsBoard experience in nonprofit, community, or publicly funded environmentsExperience working with older adults and diverse participation barriersBring strategic leadership, financial expertise, and community relationships to advance the Centre’s mission for older adults.
