Waiward seeks a Corporate HSE Manager reporting to the Senior Director, Shop Operations. This permanent, full time leader will oversee HSE programs across shop and field operations. The mandate includes scalable systems, regulatory guidance, continuous improvement, and support for evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and champion Waiward’s HSE strategy and management systemsCoach HSE personnel and operational leaders across operationsInspect sites and identify, assess, and mitigate HSE risksMonitor performance trends and recommend improvement initiativesCoordinate emergency preparedness, response,
and crisis managementRequirements:
Minimum seven years of progressive industrial HSE experienceLeadership experience in construction, fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industryPost-secondary education in occupational health and safety or related disciplineCRSP designation preferred or equivalent qualifications and experienceKnowledge of legislation, workers’ compensation, and HSE systemsBring strategic HSE leadership, regulatory expertise, and practical risk management to Waiward’s Edmonton-based operations and project sites.
