We are looking for a Clarity PPM Functional Consultant / Business Analyst who combines strong business analysis skills with practical Clarity experience. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, shape functional solutions, and help organizations get meaningful value from Clarity.

About the RoleYou will work with clients to understand their business needs, document requirements, improve processes, and translate those needs into effective Clarity solutions.

Working alongside solution architects, developers, and delivery leads, you will support implementations and enhancements from discovery through configuration, testing, training, and adoption. You should be comfortable facilitating workshops, demonstrating functionality, and helping clients make informed decisions about how to use the platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate discovery sessions and requirements workshops with business stakeholders, administrators, and end users.
- Analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend practical solutions using Clarity.
- Document business and functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional designs.
- Perform fit-gap assessments, prioritizing out-of-the-box functionality and sustainable configuration.
- Translate business requirements into clear specifications for solution architects and technical resources.
- Configure and validate Clarity functionality, including blueprints, views, fields, lookups, business rules, and custom investment types, in collaboration with the technical team.
- Help clients define governance processes, investment lifecycles, approval workflows, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare test scenarios and test cases, conduct functional testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing.
- Track requirements, scope, decisions, defects, and changes throughout delivery.
- Support data migration through data mapping, cleansing guidance, validation, and reconciliation.
- Develop user guides, training materials, and process documentation.
- Deliver demonstrations, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to users and administrators.
- Support adoption, post-implementation stabilization,



and ongoing improvements.
- Identify opportunities to use newer Clarity capabilities, including AI and reporting enhancements, to address client needs.

Required Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of hands-on experience with Broadcom Clarity PPM in a functional consulting, business analysis, or implementation role.
- Experience working with Clarity v16.x and its Modern UX.
- Demonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
- Experience translating business processes into practical Clarity configurations and functional designs.
- Strong understanding of Clarity’s Up-to-date UX, including blueprints, custom investment types, configurable views, and user experiences.
- Experience supporting Clarity implementations or enhancements through requirements, design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
- Experience defining reporting requirements, including metrics, business rules, data sources, and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, present recommendations, and demonstrate functionality to business stakeholders.
- Experience preparing user stories, process documentation, test cases, and training materials.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with both business and technical teams while managing competing priorities.

Functional and Platform ExpertiseExperience supporting a broad range of Clarity capabilities, including:
- Project and Program Management: Project setup, tasks, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, status reporting, and program oversight.
- Portfolio and Investment Management: Investment intake, prioritization, scoring, governance, and portfolio planning.
- Application Portfolio Management: Application inventories, assessments, lifecycle planning, and rationalization.
- Financial Management: Cost plans, budgets, forecasts, actuals, benefit plans, and financial reporting.
- Resource and Capacity Management: Resource and role planning, staffing, allocations, assignments, and capacity analysis.
- Time Management: Timesheets, approvals, activity tracking, and reporting.
- Roadmaps and Hierarchies: Strategic planning, scenarios, investment relationships, and consolidated reporting.
- Demand and Idea Management: Intake, evaluation, approvals,



and progression into delivery.
- Modern UX: Blueprints, custom investments, grids, boards, saved views, and configuration that supports different user groups.
- Reporting and Analytics: Business requirements and validation for dashboards, executive reporting, Clarity’s Reporting Workspace, and Jaspersoft reports.

Location and Security Requirements
- Must currently reside in Canada and be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the Canadian federal government security status or clearance required for assigned client engagements.
- Must be able to provide verifiable background information and supporting documentation for the applicable security screening process.

Additional Assets
- Experience working with Canadian public sector organizations, particularly federal government departments and agencies.
- Understanding of government investment planning, portfolio governance, application portfolio management, and departmental reporting requirements.
- Experience with Clarity’s new Reporting Workspace and the transition of existing reporting requirements from Jaspersoft.
- Experience using or evaluating AI capabilities within Clarity.
- Experience supporting transitions from Classic Clarity to Modern UX.
- Experience with organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, and user adoption.
- Relevant business analysis or project management certifications.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
