Clinical Assistant (Full-Time) – Bilingual (English/French) from Monday to Saturday

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and reliable Clinical Assistant to join our busy family medicine clinic in Orleans, Richmond, Ottawa. This is a full-time position, and bilingualism (English and French) is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for their appointments
- Record vital signs and update patient information in the EMR
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Prepare and clean examination rooms
- Manage referrals, requisitions, and medical documentation
- Perform point-of-care testing and specimen handling as required
- Maintain infection prevention and clinic safety standards
- Support front desk operations when needed
- Work collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and French (required)
- Previous experience as a Clinical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, or similar healthcare role
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (Oscar EMR experience is an asset)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
