Job Posting

Position: Coastal Technician

About Us

Passamaquoddy people have thrived for more than 13,000 years. We are in three different communities: two in the State of Maine (Pleasant Point/Sipayik and Indian Township/Motahkomikuk) and the third in Saint Andrews/St. Stephen, New Brunswick. At low tide, we could walk across the Skutik River (St. Croix) that’s how close we are despite the international boundary between Canada and the US.

We, the Passamaquoddy Recognition Group Inc. (PRGI), are an Indigenous organization that represents and works towards the recognition of the Peskotomuhkati Nation at Skutik. We work within the Canadian part of the Peskotomuhkati territory, located in southern New Brunswick, on cultural revitalization/education, community engagement, conservation, land stewardship, fisheries, and stream enhancement.
