Overview

Vance Construction is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Commercial ICI Project Manager/Draftsman to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on, multifaceted role for someone who understands ICI Construction from the planning and design stages through to project completion. The ideal candidate will be comfortable coordinating projects, communicating with clients and subcontractors, and preparing and reviewing construction drawings, while keeping projects organized, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

- Oversee ICI construction projects from initial planning through completion
- Develop project schedules, monitor progress and deadlines
- Prepare estimates, review costs, and help manage project budgets
- Communicate with clients, architects. engineers, and consultants
- Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Conduct site visits and monitor quality of work
- Prepare and modify commercial construction drawings
- Review shop drawings for accuracy and coordination
- Create as-built drawings and revisions as required
- Coordinate drawing changes with engineers, architects,



and subcontractors
- Complete takeoffs, material lists, and construction details

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in ICI Construction Project Management an asset
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings
- Strong understanding of ICI construction methods and processes
- Knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and estimating
- Excellent organizational and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and completing priorities
- Valid Drivers license

The ideal candidate will be someone who is equally comfortable preparing construction drawings as they are coordinating and managing a construction project.
