Position: Commercial Insurance Account Manager.

Position Summary: Responsible for Commercial Lines - new business, renewals, and client servicing while maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal team members.

Liaison with: Management, Insurers, Underwriters, Clients.

Required Designations: CAIB 1, CAIB 2

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Proactively Manage assigned clients
- Obtain information from clients, or clients digital file to create and process submissions and renewals
- Analyze client coverages, exposures, loss history, to determine risk requirements
- Provide clients with advice, recommendations, and explanations with respect to needs, coverage and claims
- Liaise, and transact with underwriters and insurance company representatives




- Prepare and maintain up to date all needed documentation as part of insurance policy renewals, and new submissions
- Proactively place, negotiate, and track renewals / submissions into the insurance market, including mid-term changes and endorsements
- Ensure accurate processing and review of policy documentation: paper copies, digital downloads, emails, etc
- Review Policy Wordings and Policy Documents for accuracy
- Maintains ongoing licensing requirements
- Keeps current on new products, coverages, and market trends
- Provide exceptional and prompt service
- Maintain professional relationships with underwriters, co-workers and clients
- Multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year. Salary negotiable based on experience.
