Forma Steel specializes in manufacturing high-quality steel roofing, siding, trim, and custom panels in a wide range of gauges, colors, and finishes. We manufacture our product in Fort Macleod, AB, approximately 25 minutes West of Lethbridge.

Commercial Success Representative

Scope

As a Commercial Success Representative, you will play an important role in supporting and growing Forma Steel’s commercial and institutional customer base. You will work closely with customers, contractors, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements, develop accurate estimates, recommend product solutions, and support projects from initial inquiry through quotation and order coordination.

Key Responsibilities Customer Relationships & Communication

- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing responsive, solutions-focused service.
- Communicate product information, pricing, project updates, and timelines while working with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.

Estimating & Technical Support

- Prepare accurate estimates, material takeoffs, quotations, and preliminary budgets using construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Identify project discrepancies and recommend practical product solutions that meet customer and project needs.

Commercial Project Development





- Support commercial and institutional projects from initial estimating through quotation and order coordination.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other industry professionals to clarify project requirements, communicate product capabilities, and identify new business opportunities.

Product Knowledge & Collaboration

- Maintain robust knowledge of Forma Steel products, applications, and various construction methods.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate estimating, effective coordination, and an exceptional customer experience.

Key Requirements

- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction estimating, including preparation of estimates and takeoffs for construction projects.
- Experience in project management.
- Demonstrated exposure to and understanding of different construction methods.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings, construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Experience supporting commercial and/or institutional construction projects is required.
- Experience working directly with customers and coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, or other project stakeholders is strongly preferred.
- Experience in steel building products, roofing, cladding, siding, or related building materials is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in construction, engineering technology, drafting, or a related field is an asset.
- Proficiency with CAD-based software and estimating/takeoff tools is preferred.
