As Manager, Financial Risk, you will provide Second Line expertise within Mastercard’s Digital Asset Risk & Compliance team. You will challenge First Line controls, monitor portfolio exposures, and help build financial risk governance for BVNK’s integration. The work covers digital assets, stablecoins, tokenized settlement, and banking partner exposures.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Second Line oversight and challenge for BVNK financial risk exposuresReview risk ratings, credit limits, portfolio metrics, and reportingMonitor concentrations, exposure trends, thresholds, and key risk indicatorsEscalate breaches, deteriorating exposures, control gaps,



and emerging risksPrepare materials for senior management, committees, audit, and regulatory reviewsRequirements:
Experience across credit, counterparty, settlement, liquidity, and collateral riskExperience in banking, payments, fintech, digital assets, or regulated financial servicesKnowledge of exposure measurement, stress testing, expected loss, and monitoringUnderstanding of Second Line oversight, independent challenge, and risk appetiteStrong analytical judgment and transparent communication skillsApply financial risk expertise, independent challenge, and digital asset knowledge to Mastercard’s Toronto-based BVNK integration work.
