Senior Data Scientist In this high-impact role, you’ll help shape how we design, build, and evaluate new insurance products by turning complex data into actionable insights. You’ll complement our existing data team by owning product-facing analytics work — while also contributing to our broader data strategy. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity, likes to structure their own work, and wants to play a central role in a growing data function.design and evaluate new product launches, run experimentation and A/B tests, and optimize and monitor performance of existing productsPartner with Insurance stakeholders to support analytics related to pricing analysis, plan design, loss ratio trends, and retention/lapse ratesOwn and maintain to ensure visibility into product performance, user behavior, and key funnel metrics across the organizationWork with tools like DBT, BigQuery, and SQL to ingest, model, and transform data for downstream analysisContribute to a G. sprint planning, standups, retros)Identify and lead exploratory data initiatives; carving out time to dig into opportunities and help define the product and insurance roadmap with data-first insightsCommunicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders, including Engineering, Product, and Leadership,



to translate business questions into data solutionsPlay a foundational role in scaling our data function, contributing to best practices, peer review, and cross-functional collaboration within the broader data teamWhat we're looking for:3–5+ years of experience in a product-facing data role, ideally in a startup or scale-up environmentHands-on experience owning and using Mixpanel for product analytics, including experimentation, funnel analysis, and product usage trackingStrong knowledge of A/B testing methodologies, product experimentation, and product performance evaluationA background in launching or evaluating new products, as well as monitoring and optimizing existing onesDemonstrated ownership of a full data analytics stack, including ETL pipelines, data modeling, and dashboarding (Looker experience is a bonus)Strong proficiency in SQL — and communicate recommendations clearly across technical and non-technical audiencesStrong product sense with experience working closely with insurance, financial services, or high-consideration consumer productsExperience setting up or managing data pipelines or ingesting new data sourcesExperience leveraging AI tools or models in an analytics workflowExperience using Python for data analysis, experimentation,
