As a senior structural engineer, you will contribute to structural solutions for pharmaceutical, agri-food, industrial, and industrial biotech facilities. Your work includes preparing technical documents and applying construction codes and standards. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, partners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design industrial buildings, mezzanines, platforms, and supportsComplete structural analyses and engineering calculationsDevelop specifications, plans, and technical reportsApply applicable building and construction codesParticipate in client and contractor project meetingsRequirements:
Civil or structural engineering bachelor’s degreeProfessional Engineers Ontario membershipAt least five years of relevant experienceKnowledge of design and construction standardsExperience with STAAD, S-Frame, or equivalent softwareUse structural design, analysis, documentation, and code knowledge to deliver industrial engineering solutions with LAPORTE.
