Crescent Ridge Services is an established electrical contracting and renewable energy company based in Tavistock, Ontario.

We specialize in solar energy installations, agricultural electrical services, and electrical maintenance throughout Ontario.

We're currently looking to hire approximately 10 hardworking and dependable individuals to join our installation crews for two large commercial rooftop solar projects in Ingersoll.

These positions are ideal for individuals with general construction experience, people looking for winter employment, or anyone interested in gaining hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry.

No previous solar installation experience is required. We will provide training.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work alongside our experienced installation crews performing mechanical work on existing rooftop solar installations.

Your responsibilities will include

- Removing existing solar panels from rooftop mounting systems.
- Safely handling, moving, and stacking removed solar panels onto skids.
- Transporting and positioning replacement solar panels.
- Installing and securing new solar panels onto existing mounting systems.
- Using hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks.
- Moving and organizing materials and equipment.
- Keeping work areas organized and safe.
- Following instructions from crew leaders and supervisors.
- Working safely as part of a team to meet project schedules.

The work is primarily mechanical and does not require electrical qualifications.

- Are comfortable performing physical labour throughout the day.
- Are willing and able to work outdoors during the winter.
- Are comfortable working on rooftops and at heights with appropriate safety equipment.
- Can follow instructions and work well with others.
- Have some familiarity with basic hand tools or power tools.
- Take workplace safety seriously.

Previous construction,



roofing, landscaping, or general labour experience is an asset but is not required. Reliability, attitude, and willingness to work are more important to us than previous solar experience.

Working Conditions

- Outdoor rooftop construction work throughout the winter.
- Physically demanding work involving lifting, carrying, and positioning solar panels.
- Work at heights using appropriate fall protection systems.
- Exposure to cold temperatures and typical winter weather conditions.
- Work performed under the direction of experienced crew leaders.

All work will be performed in accordance with applicable safety requirements. Work may be rescheduled when weather conditions make rooftop work unsafe. Hours & Transportation
- Full-time seasonal employment.
- Monday to Friday.
- Typical on-site working hours of approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Project locations are in Ingersoll, Ontario.
- Transportation is available from our Tavistock office to the job sites.
- Employees living closer to Ingersoll may arrange to meet directly at the project sites.

Tools, Equipment & Training Crescent Ridge Services will provide:
- Required power tools and installation equipment.
- Standard job-site safety equipment and PPE.
- Job-specific installation training.
- Required safety training for employees who do not already hold the necessary certifications.

Employees are responsible for providing:
- CSA-approved safety boots.
- Appropriate winter clothing suitable for working outdoors.
- Reliable transportation to the Tavistock meeting location or directly to the project site.

Existing Working at Heights certification is an asset. Compensation & Employment Opportunities
- $21.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Full-time seasonal work through approximately March 2027.
- Training provided.
- Opportunity to gain experience in the renewable energy industry.

Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
