Iron Horse is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Construction Labourer to join our team on an active industrial construction project in Port Hope, Ontario.

The successful candidate must have previous construction experience and hold valid certifications in Confined Space Entry, Confined Space Attendant, and Working at Heights.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general construction labour duties, including excavation support, material handling, and site preparation.
- Act as a Confined Space Attendant, monitoring entry activities and maintaining required documentation.
- Assist with confined space entry operations in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Support underground piping, civil construction, and earthworks activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work workplace.
- Follow all company and site-specific safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and safety inspections.
- Assist equipment operators and other trades as required.





Mandatory Certifications Applicants MUST possess valid, current certifications in ALL of the following:
- Confined Space Entry
- Confined Space Attendant
- Working at Heights (Ontario-approved)

Applicants without all three required certifications will not be considered.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in civil, industrial, or heavy construction preferred.
- Experience with confined space operations and attendant responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers.
- Must be able to meet project-specific site access and safety requirements.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 50.0 per week
