The Proposal Writer will be primarily responsible for preparing service proposals and marketing documents. Collaborating with a member of senior management to establish the proposal strategy (project team, relevant experience, methodology, and other required content) Researching, writing, and revising project sheets, résumés, project approach sections, firm profiles, etc. Planning and meeting project timelines to ensure on-time submission of proposals Performing layout and final assembly, while ensuring the quality of deliverables Keeping the proposal database up to date at all times College or university degree in a relevant field ~ Experience in a similar role (consulting engineering, architecture, or construction) is considered an asset ~ Excellent command of English, both written and spoken ~ Robust aptitude for writing and editing technical documents ~ Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word; knowledge of Excel and Adobe InDesign Demonstrates thoroughness, attention to detail, and professionalism ~ 3-5 years experience in proposal writing, proposal coordination, bid management, marketing communication, technical writing, or a related field ~ Experience supporting RFP, RFQ, and proposal submissions is considered an asset
