Independent Contractor | In-Person | Evenings & Weekends A Little About The Hive The Hive Mental Health Services is an established counselling practice in Saskatoon, and we’re looking for a Registered Social Worker to join us!

Who We’re Looking For

We’d love to connect with someone who is:

- Warm, personable, and comfortable building genuine connections with clients.
- Confident providing individual and couples counselling.
- Compassionate, but comfortable challenging clients when appropriate.
- Independent, organized, and dependable.
- Comfortable managing their own caseload, documentation, and billing responsibilities.
- Open to collaboration, feedback, and continued professional growth.
- Interested in building a consistent, long-term caseload.

Qualifications
- BSW or MSW with active Saskatchewan RSW registration, or eligibility to register before starting.
- Minimum two years of relevant counselling experience.
- Experience providing couples counselling.
- Ability to work independently within professional and ethical standards.
- Professional liability insurance before beginning practice.
- Consistent evening and weekend availability.





Experience with Gottman Method Couples Therapy is an asset, but not required. Orientation to The Hive’s couples counselling approach will be provided. What We Offer

Compensation & Availability This is an independent-contractor opportunity with session-based compensation.

Compensation rate is $80-$110 depending on experience, credentials and existing client load.

We’re looking for someone who can offer a minimum of 15 bookable appointment hours weekly during the first 90 days, increasing to 20 hours weekly thereafter.

There is potential for this opportunity to grow to 25+ hours per week by spring 2027, depending on client demand and caseload development. This could be a excellent fit for someone looking to build toward a fuller private-practice schedule.

Evening and weekend availability is required.
