Royal Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations of the dealership.

This leadership role is responsible for managing the dealership's accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance while supporting operational performance and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Oversee vehicle inventory accounting, floorplan reconciliations, and manufacturer receivables.
- Ensure compliance with dealership accounting policies, manufacturer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and government reporting requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to dealership ownership and senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance departments to improve operational and financial performance.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of automotive dealership accounting experience.
- Previous Controller or Assistant Controller experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dealership accounting practices and financial reporting.
- Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) and accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- CPA designation considered a strong asset.
