Flaman Sales has an exciting opportunity for you!!!! We currently have an opening for a friendly, experienced and results driven Credit & Collections Specialist to join our team!!! This is a full-time position based out of our Nisku, AB location._ Remote work not available._

We’re looking for a Collections Champion that’s ready to make an impact!! This individual must be exceptional at establishing and maintaining great relationships, laser focused on clearing up outstanding balances and be able to seamlessly juggle several tasks at the same time.

A typical day in this role will involve:

- Review customer accounts for late and/or non-payments using aged reports
- Follow-up with customers regarding overdue accounts on a regular basis (via telephone/email)
- Address and resolve customer questions and concerns in a timely manner
- Maintain up-to date records of correspondence with customers regarding past due accounts
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables
- Collaborate with the accounting team to investigate and resolve payment discrepancies
- Provide management with regular updates on overdue customer account status & collections
- Prepare and provide customer with documentation pertaining to outstanding accounts as needed (back-up)
- Process credit card payments and credit applications as required
- Posting payments in accounting software system
- Work diligently to achieve credit and collection targets & goals
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and protocols




- Assist with other general administrative duties and special projects when requested

Your skills and qualifications will include:

- Recognize the importance of establishing and maintaining relationships with customers
- Experience in collections, accounts receivables and customer service (preferably 3-5years)
- Solid computer skills, including working knowledge of Office 365
- Proficient with Business Central/Microsoft Dynamics (considered an asset)
- Experience with Business Vision/Spire Software (considered an asset)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Outstanding organizational skills and effective time management
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Creative problem solving and negotiating skills
- Attention to detail ensuring high level of accuracy
- A team player with a professional, positive “can do” attitude and good work ethic
- Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory clean criminal record check
- Must have reliable transportation
