Lead FPGA architecture and verification for Kardium’s Globe® Pulsed Field System in a hybrid position based in Burnaby, BC.
As FPGA Team Lead, you will manage development, testing, and maintenance of FPGA designs within Kardium’s Electrical team. You will define system architectures, guide multi-FPGA implementation, and coordinate requirements with Electrical and Software teams. The work supports a regulated medical device.

Key Responsibilities

Define FPGA system architectures for the Globe systemManage multi-FPGA implementation, testing, debugging, and verificationMaintain FPGA coding standards and development processesSet deliverables and priorities for the FPGA teamDevelop team members and coordinate technical communicationRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical or computer engineeringFive-plus years of hands-on FPGA design and verification experienceOne to two years leading or mentoring engineering teamsProficiency in VHDL;
Verilog or SystemVerilog is an assetMastery of FPGA architecture, synthesis, timing closure, and verificationBring FPGA leadership, VHDL expertise, and verification experience to Kardium’s Globe® medical device development team.
