GL Truck and Tank Repair is looking for an organized, dependable, and customer-focused Service Advisor / Parts Coordinator to join our team.

We are a busy truck and tank repair facility with 4 Service Bays and a Team of 4-6mechanics. We specialize in truck, bus, tank, and trailer repairs.

We are looking for someone who can coordinate daily shop activities, communicate with customers and suppliers, order parts, manage work orders, and handle invoicing and general office administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle incoming customer calls and service inquiries.
- Open and manage repair work orders.
- Assign and coordinate repair jobs with mechanics.
- Monitor repair progress and communicate updates to customers.
- Order parts for trucks, buses, tanks, and trailers.
- Contact suppliers for pricing, availability, and delivery.
- Follow up on parts orders and deliveries.
- Prepare customer invoices and process repair paperwork.
- Enter supplier invoices and match them with purchase orders.




- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate customer, vehicle, and repair records.
- Help keep daily shop operations running smoothly.

Qualifications
- Experience in a truck, trailer, automotive, or heavy-duty repair shop is an asset.
- Knowledge of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts is preferred.
- Experience with parts ordering, work orders, and invoicing.
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable and supplier statement reconciliation.
- Good computer and communication skills.
- Solid organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
