The Safety Supervisor maintains visible plant oversight and supports programs protecting employees and operations. This position conducts inspections, investigates incidents, and helps ensure federal, state, local, and corporate safety requirements. Experience in food or industrial manufacturing is required.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor workplace safety practices throughout the plantConduct inspections, observations, and hazard assessmentsInvestigate incidents, injuries, near misses, and property damageSupport safety programs, emergency drills, and evacuation proceduresMaintain safety records, training records, and EHS documentationRequirements:
Three or more years of manufacturing safety experienceWorking knowledge of Cal/OSHA and workplace safety requirementsExperience conducting inspections, training, and incident investigationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredProficient Word, Excel, and PowerPoint computer skillsApply safety leadership, hazard recognition, and documentation skills to support J&J; Snack Foods facility compliance.
