Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity Leader / Security Architect to join Laurentian Bank of Canada's Security Consulting & Design (SCAD) team.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Cybersecurity Consulting, Enterprise Security Architecture, Cloud Security, and Cyber Transformation , providing strategic security guidance across enterprise applications, infrastructure, and multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead security consulting and architecture initiatives across enterprise projects.
- Provide security guidance for AWS, Azure, GCP, and Hybrid Cloud environments.
- Conduct security reviews and develop enterprise security architecture roadmaps.
- Provide expertise across IAM, CIAM, PAM, SIEM, Data Protection, Network, and Application Security .
- Ensure compliance with NIST, PCI DSS, OWASP,



and OSFI security frameworks.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, business teams, architects, and vendors.
- Drive security strategy, risk mitigation, and technology transformation initiatives.

Mandatory Requirements

- 15+ years of overall IT experience , including 10+ years in core Cybersecurity.
- Robust background in Cybersecurity Consulting, Security Architecture, or Cyber Transformation .
- CISSP certification – Mandatory.
- Cloud Security Certification – Mandatory: CCSP, AZ-500, or AWS Security Specialty.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, Network Security, IAM/PAM, and Application Security .
- Experience with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, OWASP, and OSFI .
- Strong experience in enterprise architecture, strategic security planning, and senior stakeholder management.
- Banking / Financial Services experience preferred.
