As Bids and Proposals Manager, you will define cost-effective strategies addressing customer requirements for Defense and Security. You will collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Engineering, and global CAE sites on Price to Win, Design to Cost, workshare, and estimates. Your work includes customer presentations and proposal negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
Define bid strategies using CAE technologies and products
Collaborate on Price to Win approaches with Sales and Pricing
Set Design to Cost targets with Engineering
Prepare Basis of Estimate and comparable cost analyses
Validate workshare allocations across global CAE sites
Requirements
Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
Eight to ten years in a high-technology industry
Exposure to military, naval, tactical, or simulation systems
Experience writing government proposals and using Salesforce
Negotiation skills and Canadian work eligibility
Bring pricing judgment, technical understanding, and proposal expertise to CAE Canada’s Defense and Security pursuits.
