Lead principal gift fundraising at the University of Toronto while shaping advancement strategy for Applied Science & Engineering in downtown Toronto.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Advancement, the Senior Director, Development leads the Faculty’s comprehensive fundraising program. This senior management role oversees donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and annual development planning. It also guides complex projects, budgets, volunteers, and a high-performing development team.

University degree or exceptional equivalent education and experienceMinimum seven years of progressively responsible advancement experienceProven fundraising, management, leadership, and volunteer experienceStrong communication, presentation, organizational, and analytical skillsAbility to work some evenings and weekendsBring principal gift fundraising, stakeholder influence, and people leadership to the University of Toronto’s advancement team.
