We’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our client’s team in Calgary, Alberta. Prepare preliminary planning and cost estimates. Coordinate preliminary designs and budgets with electrical, mechanical, and field operations teams. Record and compare bids from multiple vendors and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies. Perform estimating tasks such as material take-offs, coordination with union and non-union contractors, review and consolidation of third-party quotes, preparation and completion of final estimates, and submission of bid forms. Ability to interpret and navigate specifications and technical plans. Proficiency in presenting proposals and project details. Knowledge of the construction industry, particularly in buildings and acoustic structures. Must be able to travel to the US when required. Post-secondary education in a related field with 5–10 years of experience in an estimating role related to construction. A degree in engineering, civil engineering, or construction engineering is an asset. Additional certifications in general construction, roofing, electrical work, or related trades are considered an asset.
