Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during general and restorative dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Take digital dental radiographs
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records
- Follow established IPAC protocols, including instrument cleaning, reprocessing, and sterilization
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions




- Assist with daily clinical operations and maintain an organized working environment
- Deliver compassionate, professional patient care

Required Qualifications
- Level II Dental Assistant qualification recognized in Ontario (NDAEB certification or equivalent recognized qualification)
- Valid HARP certification
- Public Health Ontario IPAC training certificates, including IPAC for Health Care Workers and Reprocessing in Community Health Care Settings
- Knowledge of current RCDSO infection prevention and control standards
- Documentation of hepatitis B immunization and immunity status in accordance with applicable occupational health and IPAC requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, qualified clinical environment

Additional Assets
- Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a strong asset
- Experience with digital charting and digital radiography
- Previous experience in general or restorative dentistry
- Interest in continuing education and digital dentistry
