Overview

Empress Dentistry is an established family general dental office located directly on the Yonge subway line at the North York Civic Centre station. Join our team in the role of a Dental Treatment Coordinator to help our patients understand and accept their treatment plans. This role requires excellent patient communication, financial presentation of treatment plan cost and value, insurance coordination, and accurate administrative follow-through.

Responsibilities

- Welcome patients, coordinate appointments, and support front desk operations, including phone, email and SMS communication with patients.
- Explain treatment plans and next steps using explicit, patient-friendly language and appropriate medical terminology.
- Maintain electronic dental records, update patient information, and coordinate documentation with the dental team.
- Support administrative workflows and communicate scheduling or treatment updates to colleagues.
- Your impact: Clear coordination helps patients feel informed and helps the dental team stay aligned.





Skills Required: Clear communication, organization, accurate record-keeping, and confidence using electronic dental records and phone systems to support daily operation. Previous dental treatment coordination experience, as well as previous Dental receptionist is a must.

Familiarity with Dentrix and medical terminology is an advantage. Understanding of dental procedures, post-op procedures. Dental office, medical office, general office, front desk, or administrative experience is valuable.

Hourly rate is dependant on candidate's past experience. Only selected candidates will be contacted. Cover letter to introduce yourself is recommended.

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.0 – 42.0 per week
