- Expertise in DB2 (Release 9.5 or later) and or Sybase 15.Xgeneral administration, development, programming and performanceturning experience.
- Experience with DB2 and/or Sybase replication toheterogeneous RDBMS platforms (Sybase, DB2 inclusing DB2/zOS)
- Advance DB2/Sybase skills with index design, MQT, MDC andPartitioning.
- Experience with DB2/Sybase data load/migration.
- Scripting knowledge (UNIX, Perl)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Other personal skills: Integrity & ownership, positive teamplayer,
ability to work under time and resource dependencies andconstraints, ability to find simple and effective solutions, highdegree of motivation to expand technical and business knowledge.
Skills Desired:
- Knowledge of Infrastructure, Load balancer, HA/DRtechnologies.
- Data modeling concepts.
- Version control, preferably with Perforce.
- Knowledge of ETL products such as Informatica.
