As Manager, Benefits and Pension, you will report to the Director, Total Rewards and lead a team of benefits specialists. Your mandate covers group insurance, defined contribution pensions, savings programs, leave management, and wellness. You will evaluate utilization, costs, employee needs, legislation, and market trends to recommend sustainable enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate program effectiveness, utilization, costs, and employee needsNegotiate renewals and oversee funding, plan changes, and implementationManage brokers, consultants, insurers, and third-party administratorsOversee pension, RRSP, TFSA,



and share ownership programsPrepare analyses and recommendations for leadership and committeesRequirements:
Human resources or business administration degree, or equivalent experience10+ years’ experience and four to six years leading teamsStrong understanding of benefits principles and applicable legislationExcellent problem-solving, relationship-building, and communication abilitiesFrench required;
CHRA, CEBS, FCIA, or FSA an assetUse total rewards strategy, analytical judgment, and benefits expertise to strengthen Toromont’s employee programs and governance.
