We are looking for someone who can work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-5:30 with a client residing in Halifax. Experience with Disability Support and ASD is an asset.

Job Summary
Inclusive Care Access Network Ltd. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Respite Workers to provide quality care and support to individuals with disabilities. As a Respite Worker, you will assist clients with daily activities, engage them in community activities of their choice, promote independence, and ensure a safe and nurturing workplace.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and companionship to individuals with disabilities.
- Learn the preferences and desires of the person you are supporting, and seek community activities and experiences that they choose to take part in.
- Engage clients in recreational and social activities to enhance their well-being.
- Implement care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Monitor and document client progress and communicate observations to families and supervisors.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Transport clients to and from community activities (if required).
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license, clear driver's abstract and reliable transportation is mandatory.
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks are required.
- MANDT/NVCIS or willingness to obtain
