Max’s Deli & Bakery is looking for reliable, hardworking, and motivated individuals to join our team as a Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper.

We are a busy bakery and deli looking for team members who take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our customers and staff.

The ideal candidate is dependable, works well in a fast-paced workplace, and is willing to assist with various cleaning and kitchen duties.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness in customer dining areas.
- Clean, sanitize, and reset tables throughout the day.
- Regularly inspect, clean, and restock customer washrooms.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and ingredient prep.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen counters, floors, equipment, and workstations.
- Follow food safety, sanitation,



and workplace safety procedures.
- Dispose of garbage and recycling appropriately.
- Assist other team members with general kitchen and cleaning duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy workplace.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
- Valuable teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as scheduled.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
