We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support related to shipping, receiving, and freight inquiries. You will leverage your knowledge of supply chain processes and transportation management systems to ensure customer satisfaction and productive operations.
Duties
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone systems and email regarding shipping and receiving processes.
- Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues related to freight and logistics.
- Utilize data entry skills to maintain accurate records in our SyteLine system.
- Analyze customer needs and provide solutions that align with our supply chain capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Assist in tracking shipments and updating customers on their status.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while handling customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems is a plus.
- Proficient typing skills for efficient data entry tasks.
- Ability to analyze information and provide actionable insights to customers.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
