As a Senior Operations Advisor, you will apply a Ready for Operations mindset across project concept development, execution, commissioning, start-up, and closeout. The work focuses on integrating future scopes into the existing Firebag asset while coordinating Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, EPCs, production stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure Firebag growth project readiness using OEMS and DAMP processesDevelop and steward RFO plans through every project stagePlan Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability deliverables in detailCoordinate EPCs, stakeholders, production units,
and RFO subject matter expertsIdentify scope risks and define mitigation solutionsRequirements:
Engineering certificate, trade certification, or relevant degreeMinimum seven years of progressive SAGD plant operations experienceUnderstanding of lifecycle management and operational integration principlesAbility to translate technical documentation into operational plansStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsBring SAGD operations expertise, project readiness leadership, and stakeholder coordination to Suncor’s Firebag growth projects.
