Design highways and municipal roadways at HDR using roadway engineering, CAD software, and transportation design expertise. This is a full time position.
As a Transportation Engineer, you will prepare roadway designs and coordinate multidisciplinary transportation projects. The work includes alignments, drainage, grading, estimates, documentation, specifications, and stakeholder engagement. You will support project managers, schedules, work plans, and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare road alignments, cross-sections, grading, and drainage designsDevelop storm sewer layouts, quantity estimates, and cost estimatesCoordinate designs with structural, traffic, pavement, and environmental disciplinesAssist project managers with daily project coordinationPrepare work plans, schedules,



proposals, and fee estimatesRequirements:
Minimum seven years of highway or municipal roadway design experienceProfessional engineering license recognized by the applicable licensing boardRoadway engineering design experience across all required aspectsExperience with Bentley or Autodesk roadway design softwareKnowledge of MS Office and excellent organizational communication skillsApply roadway engineering, transportation design, CAD, and coordination skills to highway projects as an HDR Transportation Engineer.
