S. business immigration services to corporate clients and their employees. A unique opportunity exists for experienced US immigration attorneys to work with EY Law LLP and Mehlman Jacobs LLP as independent contractors.
This position is 100% remote.
As an independently contracted Attorney, you will deliver US immigration legal advice and compliance services, helping corporate clients navigate complex requirements and implement effective immigration strategies. Your work will span non immigrant visas such as H-1B, L-1, E, TN, immigrant visa categories, PERM labour certifications, naturalization, and related matters.
Review and validate immigration case strategy to ensure alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirementsReview and validate materials prepared for submission to government authoritiesLead legal consultation calls with corporate clients and their employeesSkills and attributes for success Deep knowledge of US business immigration law and ability to apply it in complex scenariosStrong judgment and attention to detail in assessing strategy and filingsConfidence leading client conversations and providing guidance to stakeholders and foreign nationalsProactive in identifying risk and delivering compliant, practical solutionsRequirements US bar licence

Attorney will be contracted to EY Law LLP. Attorney based in the United States will be contracted to Mehlman Jacobs LLP. The initial contract term will be 1 year, with possibility to renew on an annual basis.
Independent Contractor Attorneys are not eligible for vacation entitlements or employer benefits.
