Donnellan's Irish Pub is currently hiring Door Staff for our for our busy bar in Downtown Vancouver! If you are looking for a fun working environment with awesome customers and teammates then this may be the perfect role for you!!

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Warmly greet all guests entering the premises
- Check IDs and enforce age restrictions in accordance with liquor laws
- Manage guest flow and help prevent overcrowding
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor
- Handle situations involving intoxicated or unruly patrons calmly and respectfully
- Communicate with bartenders, servers, and management as needed
- Keep entrance area clean, organized, and welcoming while also ensuring no glassware is removed outside and that no smoking occurs within the 6 metres of the building
- Other duties as required

Qualifications:

- High-School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Familiarity with local laws regarding alcohol service (Serving It Right certification is a plus)
- Previous experience in hospitality or security is an asset
- Basic Security Training (BST) is a plus
- Must be available to work a minimum of 4 weekend nights (Friday/Saturday) per month
