We are looking for a full time Driver Coordinator to join our team at our production kitchen. Every morning, fresh bread and pastries leave our kitchen for Purebread bakeries and Caffè Artigiano cafés across the Sea-to-Sky and Metro Vancouver & YVR. Now that Caffè Artigiano is joining the Purebread family, that run is getting bigger, and we need someone to own it.
As Driver
Coordinator, you'll lead our drivers, plan the routes and make sure every location opens fully stocked, whatever the highway throws at you.
Responsibilities
- Plan and optimize daily routes for every Purebread and Caffè Artigiano location
- Schedule, hire and train our driver team
- Sync load-out times with production and keep location managers in the loop
- Track on-time delivery and costs, and keep our fleet safe and road-ready
- Jump behind the wheel when the team is short
- Coordinate maintenance and lease programs for the delivery van fleet.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in delivery, dispatch or logistics, ideally in food
- Experience leading a team
- Valid BC Class 5 license, a clean abstract and confidence on the Sea-to-Sky in winter
- Calm under pressure when plans change at 5 a.m.
- Availability for early mornings, weekends and holidays; able to lift 50 lbs
- Bonus: Food Safe Level 1 or route-planning software experience
