Design high-voltage transmission lines with CIMA+ using PLS-Pole, PLS-Tower, and qualified engineering judgment. Work hybrid, two days weekly in the office, anywhere in Canada.
As a Transmission Lines Engineer, you will support CIMA+’s Energy & Resources team on major infrastructure projects. Apply civil, structural, or mechanical engineering expertise to overhead lines, structures, foundations, and project documentation. Lead design tasks while supporting junior engineers under the T&D; Lines Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

Design overhead lines and facilities from 60kV to 500kVDesign wood, steel, and lattice transmission structuresDesign transmission line structure foundationsPrepare design bases, drawings, reports, specifications,



and estimatesProvide technical assistance, field reviews, and construction supportRequirements:
Engineering degree or equivalent experienceMinimum five years’ transmission project experienceProfessional engineering registration in CanadaProficiency with design software, CAD systems, and drawing standardsStrong English communication and MS Office skillsBring transmission design, engineering registration, and project leadership skills to CIMA+’s Canadian energy infrastructure team.
