Associate Principal/Electrical Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the current electrical team in design, analysis, and consultancy on projects from concept through construction, including the production and management of deliverables such as drawings, specifications, and technical documentationOversee contract documents, technical reviews, shop drawings, contractor coordination, and complete site visits as requiredEnsure compliance with applicable codes and standards (CEC, ASHRAE, LEED, and the BC Building Code)Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants,



and clients to deliver integrated engineering solutionsLead client and stakeholder meetings, presenting technical recommendations and project updatesSupport business development through proposal development and client relationship managementMentor and oversee junior and intermediate staffContribute to team growth, hiring, and process improvements as the national electrical team expandsAvailability for on-site visits as required, generally once every two weeksQualificationsRegistered as a P.
Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC)10 + years of electrical design experience in building systemsStrong technical expertise in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and emergency power systemsWorking knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including CEC, BC Building Code (BCBC), and relevant CSA standards (LEED experience considered an asset)Proven leadership, project management, and client-facing experienceProficiency in Revit and AutoCAD requiredExperience with high-voltage systems or large-scale, complex projects is considered an asset*In accordance with the
