Launch your career in finance with Fitch Group’s Elevate Program, a paid internship based in our Toronto office.

About the Program:

The Fitch Elevate Program is a 9-month paid internship for young people who have completed an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or an equivalent qualification) within the past 5 years and want to begin their career in a global finance business. It is designed for individuals who are not currently pursuing a university pathway and are interested in a work-based route into financial services.

From day one, you’ll contribute to real projects, learn how global markets work, and build skills that can help you stand out. You’ll also receive structured training, coaching, mentorship, and support from colleagues across Fitch.

What We Offer:

- A paid opportunity to start your career in sustainability, learning, client relationships, operations, data, or artificial intelligence at a global company.
- Real work on projects connected to global finance, financial markets, technology, clients, and professional learning.
- Hands-on experience to build your confidence, workplace skills, and professional network.
- Training in financial services, communication, presentations, teamwork, and career skills.
- Mentorship and coaching from colleagues across Fitch’s global business.
- Networking and volunteering opportunities to help you meet new people and contribute to your community.
- Group projects, presentation opportunities, and a completion certificate from Fitch and Fitch Learning.

Roles Available:

You’ll apply to the Fitch Elevate Program rather than to only one role. After reviewing your application, we’ll aim to match you with a team based on your interests, skills, experience, and preferences.

Sustainable Fitch Intern

You may assist with course coordination, learner support, learning materials, online platforms, client queries, and administrative tasks. This role is a great fit if you enjoy helping people, staying organized, communicating clearly, and working as part of a busy team.

Fitch Ratings Business Relationship Management Intern

- As a Business Relationship Management Intern in Fitch Ratings, you’ll learn how teams build client relationships and identify business opportunities across Canadian debt capital markets. You may help maintain client information, prepare meeting materials and presentations, research market activity, and support relationship managers.

This role is a great fit if you want to build research, communication, organization, presentation, and commercial skills.

Fitch Ratings Global Revenue Management Intern

- As a Global Revenue Management Intern, you’ll help support Fitch’s relationships with existing clients and the renewal of their agreements. You may research companies and market activity, update data and client information, prepare agreements, and support the team with renewal activities. This role is a great fit if you are interested in financial services, research, data, business relationships, and communication.

Fitch Ratings Artificial Intelligence Intern

- As an Artificial Intelligence Intern, you’ll help explore how AI can support smarter, faster, and more effective ways of working. You may contribute to testing tools, reviewing data, documenting findings, and gathering feedback from colleagues across different teams. Social mobility eligibility:

Elevate was created to help talented young people access careers in financial services, regardless of their background. We recognise that not everyone has the same access to networks, opportunities and career pathways. As a social mobility programme, we particularly encourage applications from individuals who have experienced socio-economic barriers.

To help ensure the programme reaches those it was created to support, applicants will be asked a small number of questions about their background during the application process. This information is used only for eligibility and program monitoring purposes and will not be used to assess your skills, potential or suitability for the role.

- Have not completed a university degree.
