Advance AI infrastructure research at Lenovo in a hybrid Morrisville or Palo Alto role, using distributed systems and performance engineering. As a Staff Researcher, you will develop intelligent, efficient, and resilient Hybrid AI systems. The work spans AI algorithms, computer systems, distributed computing, and data infrastructure. You will independently own substantial research and development workstreams while building production-quality software and diagnosing infrastructure issues. Key Responsibilities:

Research distributed AI systems and intelligent infrastructure management technologies Build production-quality software, services, APIs, and data pipelines Characterize workloads through profiling, tracing, benchmarking, and telemetry Diagnose bottlenecks across accelerators, CPUs, storage,



and networking Develop hardware/software co-optimization solutions for AI workloads Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field Three or more years of relevant infrastructure or software experience Solid programming skills in Python, C++, Java, Go, Rust, or Scala Experience profiling, debugging, testing, and optimizing reliable software systems US citizenship or nationality and onsite work three days weekly Apply distributed systems, profiling, and software expertise to Lenovo’s intelligent AI compute and data infrastructure research.
