DHL Express currently has an opening for an Area Operations Manager for the Eastern Region . You will lead and direct all phases of the Company’s Operations within the provinces of Quebec and Nova Scotia , to ensure that the planned performance objectives, as detailed by the strategic plan, cost controls and revenue targets are met. This leader will also act as a proactive member of the Sales resource team in the provision of Customer service solutions. Director of Engineering and Ground Operations for DHL Express Canada and based in Lachine, the leader who can thrive in this role will manage every aspect of local Operations. You will identify and recommend process or cost improvements and execute the Operations strategy for your area. You will identify, propose and influence business solutions; manage telecoms; Director – Engineering & Ground Operations and your functional colleagues as a member of the Canadian Operations Leadership team. Establish superior customer service performance indicators and meet/exceed standards for on-time delivery, tracing, dispatching & claims,



including missed pick-ups; and overall service quality Manage employee/labour relations through appropriate application of Collective Agreement Manage all local Human Resources issues in alignment with Human Resources team Ensure successful implementation, continued application and maintenance of Track and Trace technology including scanning compliance – P&D; Monitor & Improve EBIT through profitable revenue growth, management of P.and on-time data entry Implement continuous improvement initiatives Manage special projects as agreed with the Vice President.
