Overview

Sycamore Landscape Construction is currently looking to recruit a couple of experienced hardscapers to our landscape installation team. If you are hard working, conscientious, and consider yourself a team player, we encourage you to apply!

Duties

- Build and install various hardscape features, such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment like excavators and skidsteers for various landscaping projects.
- Carry out site preparation work such as grading, excavation, and trenching for services.
- Assist with carpentry projects including fences, decks, pergolas and architectural concrete work.
- Assist with general landscaping projects, such as tree planting and lawn installation.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

- Candidates must have a positive attitude, a team orientated mindset, and a commitment to quality workmanship.




- Candidates should have at least 1yr experience of hardscape installation. This should include experience of laying concrete pavers, natural stone and flagstone. It should also include experience constructing Allan Block and drystack retaining walls.
- Candidates should have a good understanding of base materials, subgrade prep, layout, and drainage.
- Candidates should have experience running all manner of power tools, and experience running mini excavators and skidsteers is definitely an asset.
- Other landscaping experience, such as experience in carpentry, horticulture, Irrigation etc is also an asset.

Job Type: Full time Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
