This Project Archaeologist supports Stantec’s Archaeology team across urban brownfields and fly-in wilderness locations. You will manage project setup, execution, deliverables, and submissions for private and public sector clients. Collaboration includes environmental professionals, Field Supervisors, Indigenous communities, clients, regulators, and colleagues across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Project Manager and oversee Field Supervisors when requiredMonitor project financials with assistance from the financial teamPrepare proposals and participate in business development activitiesWrite or quality review archaeological reports and proposalsPromote Stantec’s HSSE program activelyRequirements:
Organized, self-motivated approach to archaeological project workAbility to mentor junior staffOntario Field Supervisor experience considered an assetProject Management Skilled designation considered an assetRequired archaeology license issued by Ontario’s ministryBring project management, financial coordination, proposal, and archaeological reporting skills to Stantec’s Ontario Archaeology team.
